Call for Proposals: Curriculum Guidelines on Teachers as Lifelong Learners


The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), in collaboration with Shanghai Normal University (SHNU), is looking for proposals from certified company entities, together with schooling consultancy businesses and analysis institutes, to develop international curriculum tips and coaching modules that assist academics as lifelong learners and facilitators of lifelong studying.

This name is part of the continued mission “Teachers as Lifelong Learners: International Research, Policy, and Practice on Lifelong Learning for Teacher Education (2023–2026).” The tips will serve as a roadmap for nationwide schooling departments and instructor schooling establishments to plan and design instructor coaching throughout pre-service, in-service, and steady skilled improvement.


Project Context

In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), this mission helps lifelong studying and high quality schooling. Phase 1 (2023–2024) included a literature evaluation, six nationwide case research (China, Chile, Germany, Qatar, Finland, South Africa), two thematic papers, and a synthesis report. Based on these outcomes, UIL will develop:

Scope of Work

  • Must be obtainable for digital conferences throughout Hamburg (Germany) workplace hours
