The YOU(th) CARE Call for Proposals invites younger changemakers throughout Europe and the Mediterranean to apply for funding and help for initiatives rooted in care, justice, and ecological transformation. With a complete of €280,000 accessible, this chance—co-funded by the European Union—empowers grassroots youth actions to steer modern tasks in schooling, neighborhood resilience, and advocacy. Whether you’re reimagining schooling, regenerating city areas, or elevating your voice via daring campaigns, YOU(th) CARE is your likelihood to show imaginative and prescient into influence.

What Is YOU(th) CARE?
YOU(th) CARE: Collective Action for Justice and Change connects grassroots youth actions from throughout 12 international locations—8 in the EU and 4 from the Southern Mediterranean. It helps initiatives which can be intersectional, feminist, and care-based.
Our shared mission:
- Agendas for Change: Co-create transformative methods to face at the moment’s crises.
- Mapping Resistance: Connect with different actions combating for justice.
- Online Learning Campus: Build abilities and share information throughout borders.
- Funding Direct Action: Support not less than 24 youth-led tasks via grants, mentorship, and motion constructing.

The YOU(th) CARE initiative spans:
- EU Countries: Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece

Main Applicant: COSPE – Cooperazione per lo Sviluppo dei Paesi Emergenti
Co-Applicants & Networks: Include HREYN, GIOSEF Italy, MDI Global/WB, REAS, Fekete-Sereg, RIPESS, MIO-ECSDE, GRDR, and others.
Funding Available: Up to €280,000 Total
You can apply for one in all three thematic funding tons. Your undertaking should be youth-led, non-profit, and aligned with the values of CARE.
Lot 1: LEARN — Transformative Education
Grant dimension: €6,000 – €10,000
Create academic applications targeted on sustainability, gender fairness, democracy, and justice.
Examples:
- Teacher/scholar workshops
- Global Citizenship Education actions
- School/neighborhood consciousness campaigns
Lot 2: ACT — Social & Ecological Transformation
Grant dimension: €8,000 – €15,000
Launch community-based tasks that regenerate areas and economies.
Examples:
- Green house revitalization
- Youth-led co-ops and mutual support efforts
- Safe areas for marginalized youth
Lot 3: ENGAGE — Advocacy & Storytelling
Grant dimension: €6,000 – €10,000
Raise consciousness and shift narratives via media and advocacy.
Examples:
- Campaigns on world challenges
- Youth participation in native decision-making
- Interconnected advocacy initiatives
Who Can Apply?
Applicants should be:
Youth-led or youth-focused initiatives
Based in one in all these 12 international locations: Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Albania, Serbia, Tunisia, Morocco
Non-profit entities, formal or casual
Working in partnerships: 1 lead + 1 co-applicant minimal (max 3)
Not eligible: Individuals, governments, prior grantees of EuropeHelp/173998/DH/ACT/Multi
Project Requirements
- Duration: 6–12 months, beginning September 2025
- Must comply with the CARE strategy and apply an intersectional gender perspective
- Should guarantee financial, environmental, and social sustainability
