The Joy of Giving Something (JGS) Fellowship, hosted in partnership with Imagining America (IA), is now accepting purposes for the 2025–2026 cohort—and it’s designed only for college students such as you.
What is the JGS Fellowship?
The JGS Fellowship is greater than only a scholarship—it’s a nationwide platform for undergraduate college students who use images and digital media as instruments for social change. Designed to assist college students from economically and socially difficult backgrounds, this system empowers them with the instruments, mentorship, and community wanted to form their careers and neighborhood engagement.
Each chosen fellow will:
- Receive a $2,000 tuition scholarship.
- Obtain monetary and mentorship assist to hold out a neighborhood-engaged inventive venture.
- Attend the Imagining America National Gathering at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces from October 3–5, 2025 — with all journey and registration prices totally lined.
- Join digital studying exchanges all year long.
- Be related with a nationwide community of artists, students, and changemakers.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible candidates should:
- Be undergraduate college students presently enrolled at, or sponsored by, an Imagining America (IA) member establishment or cultural group.
- Work in images and/or digital media.
- Demonstrate inventive advantage, neighborhood engagement, and monetary want.
- Be open to collaborative tasks that deal with actual neighborhood points.
Note: First-generation faculty college students are particularly inspired to apply, though this system is open to college students from all majors and backgrounds.
