The European Union Diplomatic Programme for the Enlargement Region is an bold, full-time residential coaching initiative launched by the Directorate-General for Enlargement and the Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST). What It Is:

A five-month, full-time residential diplomatic coaching programme tailor-made to junior officers working in overseas coverage (particularly EU CFSP) and EU accession issues.

Location:

College of Europe, Bruges Campus, Belgium (with one week in Natolin, Warsaw, Poland)

Programme Dates:

31 August 2025 to 31 January 2026

Key Objectives:

Who Can Apply:

Diplomats and junior officers from the next international locations:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Türkiye

Eligibility Criteria:

– Must be a nationwide of one of many eligible international locations
– Junior diplomat or official from a Ministry of Foreign Affairs or related State Institution with a most of seven years’ expertise
– Fluent in English (minimal C1 degree CEFR)
– University diploma
– Demonstrated skilled expertise or data in EU affairs/accession
– Official letter from employer authorising five-month participation
– Knowledge of French is an asset

– Weekend and public vacation meals
