Introduction / Background:

The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) is now accepting purposes for the 2025 Niger Delta Peace Champions (#NDPeaceChampions) Program. This initiative is designed for passionate, younger people residing in Nigeria’s Niger Delta who’re dedicated to selling peace and growth of their communities.

Since 2022, the program has empowered youth leaders with abilities and instruments to help current peace-building efforts. PIND believes that equipping younger folks with peace-building information and Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) methods can foster well timed battle mitigation and long-term stability in the area.

About the Opportunity:

The program goals to develop PIND’s rising community of peacebuilders by growing their capability in battle prevention, mediation, early warning methods, and neighborhood growth. In 2025, 90 youths shall be chosen for a 2-day workshop that gives sensible coaching, mentorship, and an opportunity to co-create peace-building options.

Who This Is For:

This alternative is meant for youths aged 18–35 dwelling in the Niger Delta area who’re already contributing to neighborhood growth and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), even in small methods.
