The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) invites functions for its Next Generation Internship Programme (NGIP) – a six-month, absolutely funded internship primarily based in Accra, Ghana, from July to December 2025.

Requirements

Job function

Responsibilities for Interns:

• Supporting in designing and implementing institutional evaluation instruments, coaching, and technical help.
• Participating in unit and cross-unit programme/venture planning and proposal improvement.
• Providing common administrative help for programmes, funds monitoring, monitoring, and sustaining a calendar of actions.
• Assisting with preparations and organisation of the varied items of coaching and technical help deliberate underneath the Unit.
• Serving as a liaison between WACSI and useful resource individuals, associates, companions, and beneficiaries.
• Aiding in designing and creating coaching instruments comparable to toolkits, modules, and different indigenous coaching sources.
• Researching, writing, and producing briefings and reality sheets on ongoing programmes and initiatives.
• Developing and drafting venture work plans, studies, idea notes, and different documentation, comparable to coaching and useful resource supplies, displays, and funds proposals.
• Conduct desktop analysis on coverage and legislative points
• Assist in gathering data and writing studies for coverage conferences 
• Assist in coverage conferences and workshop preparation 
• Assist within the improvement of coverage advocacy coaching software
• Support different administrative duties
• Any different duties that the Head of the Unit might assign

Please notice:

• Preference will likely be given to candidates with excessive proficiency in English, French or Portuguese and a working data of 1 different.
• The profitable intern will spend a considerable part of her/his internship working on the WACSI workplace in Accra, Ghana.
• The internship interval is from July to December 2025. Interns who’re unable to finish the six-months internship will refund the entire price of the internship package deal to WACSI.
