Applications are open for: The Spotlight Initiative Africa Regional Programme (SIARP) 2.0 is now accepting purposes and nominations for the formation of the Civil Society Regional Reference Group (CSRRG). We invite people to apply and change into part of a dynamic group of as much as 15 voluntary civil society consultants and youth leaders who’re dedicated to combating violence in opposition to girls and ladies (VAWG) and advancing gender equality throughout Africa.

Role and Responsibilities

Advise on programme technique and implementation

Eligibility Criteria
We encourage nominations or purposes from people who:

Are civil society consultants or youth leaders

Have expertise in gender equality, human rights, and addressing dangerous practices
-
Are linked to grassroots or regional girls’s and youth networks
-
Demonstrate a dedication to advancing gender justice in Africa
Selection Process
The course of will take into account regional stability and variety of experience.
A Selection Committee, chaired by a consultant from the Civil Society Global Reference Group, will embrace:

Representatives from UN Women, the European Union, African Union Commission (AUC), and UNDCO

Three unbiased civil society consultants from totally different sub-regions with expertise within the Spotlight Initiative
