About the Program

The Experiment Digital Youth Leadership & Community Service Program connects highschool college students from throughout the United States and Latin America, together with:

  • Argentina
  • Belize
  • Bolivia
  • Brazil
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Costa Rica
  • Dominican Republic
  • Ecuador
  • El Salvador
  • French Guiana
  • Guatemala
  • Guyana
  • Haiti
  • Honduras
  • Mexico
  • Nicaragua
  • Panama
  • Paraguay
  • Peru
  • Suriname
  • Uruguay
  • Venezuela

This totally funded (free!), eight-week digital change equips college students with the instruments to:

  • Be extra civically engaged
  • Lead native change
  • Design and implement a service mission in their group

Program Outcomes:

Participants will achieve:

  • Enhanced management expertise
  • Increased involvement in civil society and volunteering
  • Cross-cultural understanding and collaboration

Upon profitable completion, college students obtain:

  • A Certificate of Completion
  • A $400 scholarship for a 2026 Experiment in International Living summer season program
  • Access to The Experiment Digital Alumni Network {and professional} growth alternatives

About The Experiment Digital

Launched in 2016, The Experiment Digital is an award-winning pioneer in digital change programming. Application Information

Program Dates:

  • September 29 – November 23, 2025
  • Commitment:
    • 2–4 hours/week (asynchronous)
    • 1 hour/week (non-compulsory synchronous session)

Eligibility Requirements

You are eligible to apply in the event you:

  • Are 14–19 years outdated
  • Are at present enrolled in or haven’t but accomplished highschool
  • Live in the U.S. or one in every of the listed Latin American nations
  • Have fundamental English language competency, that means:

Reasonable Time Commitment:

  • Program: September 29 – November 23, 2025
    • Mostly asynchronous
    • Optional 1-hour dwell name every weekend
      • Alternating Saturday workshops with professional audio system
      • Small group dialogues on alternate weeks
  • Certificate Requirement: Complete a minimum of one exercise per week

Safe & Supportive Spaces:

  • Students are grouped into:
    • Neighborhoods (medium-sized)
    • Families (small peer teams assembly bi-weekly)

Technology Designed for Accessibility:

  • Uses low-bandwidth instruments like:
  • Activities embrace:
    • Live workshops
    • Written reflections
    • Digital journaling
    • Audio and text-based collaboration
  • Accessibility options: closed captions, high-contrast textual content

Robust Global Curriculum:

Students will observe:

  • Collaborative problem-solving
  • Global communication
  • Digital etiquette

Sample Activities

  • Watch a 5-minute video on the right way to begin a group mission
  • Take a quiz to find your management type and talk about along with your “family” group
  • Share a picture of a favourite place in your group with a brief message
  • Attend a dwell workshop with a mission professional (1 hour)
  • Identify 3 native wants, select one, and full a useful resource evaluation utilizing a digital worksheet or visible software (half-hour)

Meet the Digital Facilitators

The program is led by skilled Digital Facilitators with expertise in youth engagement and world change. Support can be offered by peer mentors (program alumni) and Experiment Digital workers.
