2025 New Champions Fund Now Open for Applications!

The Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA) is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 New Champions Fund. Applications are open from April 1st to April thirtieth, 2025.

What is the New Champions Fund?

The EALA New Champions Fund is:

• An annual unrestricted aggressive sub-grant
• A year-long mentorship alternative
• Designed to assist leaders of coloration or allies of entry and inclusion in schooling
• Aimed at these actively working to assist college students with disabilities, particularly:
  • Students who’re marginalized
  • Students from underserved communities
  • Students experiencing poverty

Purpose of the Fund

This fund seeks to:

• Elevate the profile of not-yet-recognized leaders
• Provide assets for the progress of impactful organizations/initiatives
• Support leaders who might battle to be acknowledged by way of conventional nationwide fundraising or communication platforms

Submission Portal

Applications should be submitted between April 1st and April thirtieth, 2025, by way of the
Application Submission Portal.

What’s Included?

• Funding:
  A one-year $35,000 unrestricted sub-grant
• Mentorship:
  A one-year strategic mentorship to assist management objectives
• New Champions Retreat:
  An in-person occasion deliberate for late June 2025, bringing collectively present and former New Champions to:
  • Launch the mentorship program
  • Collaborate on strategic objectives
• National Events Participation:
  EALA will assist highlight New Champions’ work by way of:
  • Media channels
  • Podcasts
  • Webinars
  • National conferences
• Runners-Up Grants:
  Three further $5,000 sub-grants per 12 months might be awarded to runners-up, chosen by the panel of New Champions judges
• Evaluation:

Eligibility Criteria

• You are a chief of coloration or an ally advancing entry and inclusion in schooling
• You are actively supporting college students with disabilities, together with:
  • Marginalized college students
  • Students from underserved communities
  • Students experiencing poverty
