About the Opportunity

Location: Belconnen, ACT, Australia
Salary: UC Academic Level C, $138,789 – $159,600 each year + 17% Super
Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (as much as 3 years)

Key Research areas:

• Climate change threat evaluation
• Air air pollution publicity evaluation
• Air high quality or atmospheric modelling
• Environmental epidemiology
• Life cycle evaluation

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct unbiased, high-impact analysis and publish in main journals
• Present findings at nationwide and worldwide conferences
• Collaborate with international specialists and numerous stakeholders
• Lead the supply of externally funded initiatives
• Supervise and mentor Master’s and PhD college students
• Translate scientific analysis into real-world coverage and apply

What We’re Looking For

• A PhD (or equal) in environmental modelling, local weather/atmospheric modelling, environmental publicity and well being threat evaluation, environmental epidemiology, life cycle evaluation, or a associated area
• Strong analysis expertise in environmental well being, air air pollution, or local weather change
• Demonstrated success in securing aggressive exterior analysis funding
• Excellent venture administration and teamwork skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication expertise in English
• A collaborative mindset and a dedication to excessive educational requirements
