A traineeship of up to 6 months inside the Political, Press and Information – PPI Section of the EU Delegation to the African Union, beginning in 2 May 2025.

Trainees will assist each Political, Press and Information Section by:

• Preparatory work for the 2025 EU-AU Ministerial Conference and subsequent Summit and different associated occasions and initiatives.
• Contribute to the communication and visibility work of the EU Delegation: a) drafting press releases, challenge fiches and different communication paperwork; b) contributing to the organisation of occasions; c) supporting in some other strategic communication duties.
• Undertake analysis on some particular Political/Cooperation points and make summaries of key papers and of conferences.
• Attending conferences and making ready minutes of these;
• Contributing to the preparation of inside paperwork, statements, speeches, stories and knowledge assortment. Particular focus might be on mobility and migration, youth, financial integration, G20 and multilateral relations;

Eligibility

• Only candidates at present residing in Ethiopia might be thought-about.
• Master’s diploma in political science, worldwide relations, economics, legislation or different social research
