Applications at the moment are open for the 2025 EU Delegation to the African Union Traineeship. A traineeship of up to 6 months inside the Political, Press and Information – PPI Section of the EU Delegation to the African Union, beginning in 2 May 2025 

Eligibility Requirements

• Only candidates presently residing in Ethiopia can be thought of.
• Master’s diploma in political science, worldwide relations, economics, legislation or different social research
• Maximum 1 12 months of labor expertise
• Fluency in English
• Excellent analytical and drafting abilities, a eager understanding of and curiosity in African Union’s politics, economics and governance
• A hands-on, pro-active, dependable angle, an openness to studying, and willingness to contribute with concepts.

Main Task:

Support each Political, Press and Information Section by:

• Preparatory work for the 2025 EU-AU Ministerial Conference and subsequent Summit and different associated occasions and initiatives.
• Contribute to the communication and visibility work of the EU Delegation: a) drafting press releases, venture fiches and different communication paperwork; b) contributing to the organisation of occasions; c) supporting in some other strategic communication duties.
• Undertake analysis on some particular Political/Cooperation points and make summaries of key papers and of conferences.
• Attending conferences and getting ready minutes of these;
• Contributing to the preparation of inside paperwork, statements, speeches, stories and knowledge assortment. Particular focus can be on mobility and migration, youth, financial integration, G20 and multilateral relations;
• Support as wanted the Policy and Cooperation Section on devoted information notably in view of the 2025 Ministerial convention and subsequent Summit
