Eligibility
Eligible candidates should:
- Have a minimal viable product (MVP) and exhibit a degree of traction for Incubator (Track 1)
- Be legally registered and be publish-income for the Accelerator (Track 2)
- Have a market-based mostly resolution aimed toward addressing sustainable agriculture challenges
- Preferably with operations in Nairobi, Makueni or Mombasa and its environs
- Offer options in both of the next:
- Precision Agriculture
- Geo-location: mapping and satellites: utilizing or manufacturing mapping expertise
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): producing, distributing, or working UAVs and drones utilized in agriculture
- Big Data adopted for plant analytics, threat alerts, and predictions;
- Irrigation: provision of apparatus or companies
- Technology (Blockchain-related software program, AI-powered options, IoT-pushed options)
- Supply Chain
- Production (Farmer coaching, farm administration, co-operatives)
- Inputs (fertiliser, seedlings, seeds, pesticides, mechanisation: tractors, ploughs, planters, harvesters and many others)
- Access to markets: aggregation, e-commerce for livestock/produce)
- Access to Finance
- Waste Management.
- Recycling – convert agricultural waste to new merchandise
