Applications are actually open for the 2025/2026 NNPC/OERNL Joint Venture Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. The NNPC/OERNL Joint Venture in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility invites suitably qualified candidates for its 2025/2026 Sessions Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.

Award Category

  • Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For candidates strictly from OANDO Host/Transit Communities   
  • National Merit Award – For candidates from Non-Host/Transit Communities

ELIGIBILITY

To qualify for consideration, candidates MUST be:  

  • Registered FULL TIME undergraduates in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions  
  • Certified 100 degree college students at the time of application  

NOTE: The following classes of scholars mustn’t apply:  

  • 200 degree college students and above    
  • Current beneficiaries of comparable Awards from different Companies and Agencies    
  • Dependants of OANDO personnel    

Only indigenes of OANDO Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
Only candidates finding out Engineering, Geology, Geosciences and Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the National Merit Award.

Application is open to 100-level college students solely.
