Applications are open for the African Observatory on Responsible AI Scholarship for African Women 2025. The African Observatory on Responsible AI is dedicated to fostering moral AI governance throughout the continent. As part of its Women in Focus initiative, the Observatory is providing 5 absolutely funded scholarships for African ladies to take part in a brief course on AI Ethics and Policy.
This initiative goals to bridge gender gaps in AI management and equip students with the talents to form accountable AI insurance policies in Africa. The AI Ethics & Policy in Africa course, provided by UCT’s EthicsLab in collaboration with the African Observatory on Responsible AI, supplies important insights into AI governance.
