Applications are open for the Vanier Institute Early Career Scholar Award 2025. The Vanier Institute of the Family is happy to ask nominations for the Early Career Scholar Award. The award is a brand new initiative recognizing excellent contributions to the understanding of households and household life in Canada by rising students. It celebrates the achievements of early profession students who’ve demonstrated distinctive potential for analysis, management, or innovation in advancing information about households in all their diversities.

Eligibility

• Nominees should have obtained their PhD inside the previous seven years.
• Contributions should replicate excellence in analysis that aligns with the Vanier Institute’s mission of fostering information and understanding about household diversities and wellbeing in Canada.
• Nominations might be submitted by friends, supervisors, and mentors; self-nominations should not permitted.

Selection Criteria

The jury will consider nominations based mostly on:

• Excellence in analysis: demonstrated excessive-high quality analysis that advances understanding of households and household life in Canada, reflecting the Vanier Institute’s mission to foster information and understanding of household diversities and wellbeing.

Nomination

Nominations should be submitted through the Institute’s web site and embody the next:
