Applications at the moment are open for the 2025 Rise Up Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator training program. Global nonprofit Rise Up will choose a gaggle of 25 native civil society leaders from Kenya to take part in its Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator training program to advance gender fairness and justice in women’ training July 14-19, 2025.

Requirements

Eligible candidates should meet the next choice standards:

• Civil Society leaders of minimal 18 years of age on the time of the training in July 2025.
• Currently working in Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado or Machakos Counties. • Has a private curiosity and present dedication to selling gender fairness broadly in the three precedence areas of well being, training, and financial alternative for ladies, women, and gender-nonconforming individuals.
• Represents or works intently with marginalized teams from socially or economically marginalized communities, ladies and women with disabilities, ethnic and/or non secular minorities, and different traditionally deprived populations.
• Ability to take part in an in-person training from July 14-19, 2025, with some digital periods pre-and-post training. Please be aware that Rise Up will cowl all prices associated to program participation, together with transportation, lodging, meals, and supplies.
• Currently works at a non-profit group, civil society group, media group, or authorities group at a stage of coordination or administration and has some stage of decision-making energy.
• Has the help of your group’s management to take part in Rise Up’s Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator training.
• To be eligible for a grant, Rise Up requires organizations to be legally registered incountry and set as much as obtain worldwide funds. Entities that aren’t registered will be sponsored by one other monetary entity or fiscal sponsor. Note: Government organizations aren’t eligible to obtain grants by means of this program.
• Proficient in oral and written English.

Benefits

• Rise Up will competitively award grants of $17,000 USD to taking part leaders and their organizations and encourage these engaged on advancing women’ training to apply.
