Call for Proposals: Digital Advocacy Grants for Youth Organisations in Africa – €25,000 Grant for a Nine-month Project
The Youth Democracy Cohort (YDC) has launched a name for proposals underneath the Digitalise Youth venture, inviting organisations in the Sahel, West Africa, and the Horn of Africa to apply for Digital Advocacy Grants. These grants goal to strengthen youth participation in digital advocacy by participating nationwide governments in multi-stakeholder dialogues.
Grant Details
Selected organisations will obtain a €25,000 grant for a 9-month venture (June 2025 – March 2026). The grants will assist advocacy efforts targeted on:
- Promoting youth rights in the digital sphere
- Influencing the regulation of digital areas
- Protecting digital platforms as areas for human rights advocacy
Organisations are inspired to suggest methods tailor-made to their native context. The YDC will present technical and monetary assist, together with networking alternatives and extra help in democracy assist, advocacy, and youth participation.

Eligibility Criteria
Organisations should:
- Be a registered authorized entity
- Be based mostly in Senegal, Benin, Guinea, Mauritania, Togo, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, or Chad
- Organisations with restricted entry to funding and little expertise working with massive donors are strongly inspired to apply
- Applicants are strongly inspired to join the Youth Democracy Cohort (YDC) and apply to this name as members of the YDC.
