The NSIA Prize for Innovation (NPI), an initiative of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), is designed to empower entrepreneurs and changemakers whose progressive concepts can drive significant social and financial impression.

Designed to nurture ingenuity and speed up excessive-potential ventures, NPI offers funding and strategic help to early-stage, development-pushed options. Through this initiative, NSIA goals to encourage groundbreaking concepts that improve productiveness, strengthen industries, and ship lasting social impression in Nigeria and past.

Prizes

• US$220,000 in prizes to be received + US$45,000 Cascador Prize for Impact + a 5-week all-bills-paid coaching programme.

Eligibility

• One of the founders have to be a Nigerian Citizen.
• Applicants have to be 18 years or older.
• Applicants have to be operating progressive and social impression-pushed startups.
• The startup ought to have operated for not lower than six months and working in or inside Nigeria.
• The startup must be seeking to increase a seed spherical.
• The startup ought to have developed a minimal viable product (MVP).
• Applicants have to be prepared and in a position to decide to a ten-week quick-observe accelerator programme.
• Only one application is permitted per applicant regardless of the sector. Subsequent purposes might be disqualified.
• The startups of the highest 10 finalists have to be registered in Nigeria.
