Takeoff Fellowship: Empowering Black Undergraduate Students for Success

Are you a Black undergraduate scholar wanting to jump-start your profession? Do you need to develop real-world abilities, join with high business professionals, and acquire the arrogance to succeed? If so, the Takeoff Fellowship is designed for you.

With over 5 profitable cohorts and greater than 250 alumni thriving at firms like Facebook, Tesla, Goldman Sachs, and Apple, this program is making an actual affect. The Takeoff Fellowship is an 8-week intensive expertise that gives mentorship, skill-building, and networking alternatives that can assist you launch a profitable skilled journey. Each Fellow is paired with an Advisor to develop a method, analysis an business, and current key findings. Through a weekly speaker collection and structured coursework, members acquire invaluable insights and a strong basis for their future careers.

Program Details

• Duration: June to August
• Format: 100% Virtual
• Time Commitment: 10 hours per week
• Live Sessions: Mondays, 6-8 PM ET (June 9 – July 28)

Weekly Curriculum Overview

Each week covers key subjects important to skilled and private progress:

1. Kickoff & Program Introduction – Get to know your friends, mentors, and expectations for this system.
2. Financial Literacy & Building Wealth – Learn find out how to handle funds and set long-term monetary targets.
3. Email Etiquette, Networking & Building Community – Develop communication abilities and learn to set up a powerful skilled community.
4. Career Exploration – Gain insights into totally different industries and profession paths.
5. Perseverance – Build resilience and be taught methods to beat obstacles.
6. Time Management & Mental Health – Balance productiveness with self-care to keep up well-being.
7. Interview Prep & Elevator Pitches – Master the artwork {of professional} self-presentation.
8. Program Wrap-Up & Final Presentations – Showcase what you’ve realized by way of a remaining venture presentation.
