About the Role

As part of Green and Healthy Frome, this undertaking goals to convey younger folks collectively to create a Youth Climate Action Allies group. The purpose is to offer company, creativity, and alternatives for younger folks (ages 12-18) to guide climate-related initiatives of their neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a youth-led motion – Support younger folks in forming a core group that can design and implement local weather motion tasks.
• Facilitate engagement – Work with faculties, youth organizations, and neighborhood teams to encourage participation.
• Empower decision-making – Help younger folks take possession of the initiative and handle a finances for actions.
• Strengthen partnerships – Collaborate with Frome Town Council, Edventure’s Future Shed, and different key stakeholders.
• Promote skill-building – Provide alternatives for management, volunteering, and peer-to-peer studying.

Who Should Apply?

✔ Has sturdy communication and networking abilities
✔ Can facilitate workshops and arrange neighborhood actions
✔ Understands local weather motion, sustainability, and fairness
✔ Has expertise working in faculties, youth teams, or neighborhood tasks
✔ Is proactive, organized, and capable of work independently

Project Details

• Fee: £150 per day for 50 days (£7,500 whole)
• Duration: April 2025 – January 2026 (10 months)
• Location: Based in Frome and surrounding villages
• Contract: Freelance, versatile working schedule
• Enhanced DBS check required
