Applications at the moment are open for the ITU160 Gender Champions initiative. Through the ITU160 Gender Champions initiative, on the event ITU’s 160th Anniversary, the Government of Canada is partnering with ITU to deliver to Geneva 9 young women (ages 18–25) working in digital development and digital transformation worldwide. 
 
This initiative will cowl their journey and lodging in Geneva, the place they may take part in the WSIS+20 High-Level Event, the AI for Good Global Summit, and ITU’s one hundred and sixtieth Anniversary commemorations from 7–11 July 2025.

As an ITU160 Gender Champion you’ll:

• Engage with key stakeholders in the digital and tech sectors;
• Amplify your work in digital development and digital transformation, by actively taking part in quite a lot of classes and actions;
• Co-design and facilitate along with your distinctive perspective, a workshop on selling gender equality in digital transformation. 

Requirements

• Young women (ages 18 – 25) are invited to apply to be ITU160 Gender Champions. R
• ecognizing the intersectionality and the necessity for various voices in shaping our digital future, young women from creating international locations, least developed international locations, landlocked creating international locations and small island development states, in addition to young indigenous women, and young women with disabilities, are notably inspired to apply for this chance.

Benefits

• The 9 ITU160 Gender Champions can be required to attend the WSIS+20 High Level Event and 2025 AI for Good Summit from 07 to 11 July 2025. In this context, the organizer will present the 9 Champions with
