Fellowship Opportunities in the U.S.

The Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Fellowship Program goals to broaden entry to careers in conservation and clear vitality by offering hands-on expertise, mentorship, and management improvement. With a dedication to fairness, environmental justice, and social change, the program helps rising leaders from various backgrounds who’re enthusiastic about making a difference in these fields.

Available Fellowship Positions (2025-2027)

Eligibility Requirements

To be thought of for the 2025-2027 RAY Fellowship Cohort (Cohort 10), candidates should meet the following standards:

• Hold an undergraduate diploma obtained after May 2022.
• Have a powerful curiosity in conservation and/or clear vitality.
• Demonstrate a dedication to fairness, environmental justice, and social change.
• Have not but held a full-time job in conservation or clear vitality.
• Be eligible to work in the United States and decide to the full two-year fellowship.
• Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients are inspired to apply.
• Applicants don’t must be U.S. residents however will need to have work authorization (e.g., by DACA, OPT, or everlasting residency). RAY Host Organizations don’t sponsor visas.

Application Process

How to Apply

Applications for the 2025-2027 RAY Fellowship cycle are actually open! To apply:

1. Complete the 2025 RAY Fellowship Application Form.
   • Proof of enrollment and a resume are required.
2. Respond to the following application questions:
   • Personal Experience & Leadership: (500 phrases max)
     Reflect in your lived experiences and the way they’ve formed your path towards a profession in conservation and clear vitality.
   • Future Vision:
     Envision the world seven generations from now after resolving at present’s environmental crises. What does it appear to be? How have you ever contributed to those options, and the way did the RAY Fellowship help your journey?
     • This immediate might be answered by textual content (max 400 phrases), paintings, video (max 2 minutes), podcast, or different artistic mediums.
     • Submissions have to be shared through URL (Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, and many others.).
3. Submit the accomplished application by March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.

• Early June: Finalists Notified

Selection & Placement

Applicants shall be reviewed on a rolling foundation, and people chosen for interviews shall be requested to decide on their prime three fellowship positions.
