The challenge University Corridors for Refugees UNICORE 7.0 is promoted by Italian Universities with the help of UNHCR, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, Centro Astalli and different companions. Requirements

Application is open solely to candidates who:

1. Are residing in Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and have been acknowledged refugee standing in these nations in collaboration with UNHCR;
2. Hold a qualification legitimate for admission to the chosen Second Cycle Degree Programme;

Selection Criteria

Selection Process

The taking part universities will every establish a Committee of Experts to conduct the choice course of, which will probably be divided into two steps:

Step 1: Evaluation of the documentation. The Committee of Experts will consider the documentation in response to the next standards:

• Academic background and GPA (rating: 0-20);
• Evaluation of CV: skilled expertise and private abilities (rating: 0-10);
• Coherence between earlier research and chosen Second Cycle Degree programme (rating: 0-10);

Candidates receiving a rating of lower than 25 won’t be admitted to step 2 of the choice course of.

Candidates admitted to Step 2 will probably be notified by electronic mail.

Step 2: On-line interview. Candidates admitted to step 2 will probably be interviewed by the Committee of Experts, who will consider their technical abilities, information of the topic and stage of English. Interviews will probably be graded on a scale of 40 factors.

Interviews will probably be held on-line.

Candidates will probably be notified by electronic mail concerning the date and time of the interview.

Candidates are requested to current themselves for interview with the Ration Card Number or the Refugee Identity Card used through the on-line application.
