About She Wins Climate
The She Wins Climate Acceleration Program 2025 is a groundbreaking initiative launched by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. Implemented by adelphi, VC4A, and EBAN, this program is devoted to supporting women-led local weather startups in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Program Objectives
The program goals to boost the funding readiness and fundraising capabilities of women-led startups that supply revolutionary local weather change options. Through a complete acceleration program, members will profit from:
- Investment Opportunities: Gain entry to prime buyers and pitch occasions.
- Mentorship: Receive steerage from world specialists in local weather innovation and feminine entrepreneurship.

- Eastern Europe: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Türkiye.
- Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

Startups within the following sectors are inspired to apply:
- Clean Technology & Energy
- Green Transportation & Electric Motors
- Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, Hydropower, and many others.)
- Smart City Solutions & ICT
- Waste Management & Recycling
- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
- Circular Economy & Environmental Services
Who Should Apply?
This program is designed for ladies founders main climate-focused startups in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. To be eligible, you should meet the next standards:
Participant Requirements:
- Age 21+
- Identify as a lady
- Founder, co-founder, proprietor, or government of a startup
- Fluent in English
Startup Requirements:
- Women-Owned or Women-Led (See definition beneath)
- For-Profit & Legally Registered (Operating for not less than one 12 months)
- Market Presence & Revenue-Generating
- Early-Stage (Pre-SEED, SEED, or Series-A funding)
- Majority Operations in Target Countries
- Tech-Enabled Climate Solutions (Focused on decreasing emissions, sustainability, conservation, and many others.)
Women-Owned/Women-Led Definition:
- 51% or extra owned by a lady/ladies OR
-
At least 20% possession by a lady/ladies with:
- A girl in a key management position (CEO, COO, President, VP)
- 30% or extra of the board of administrators comprising ladies (if relevant)
How to Apply
Applications are actually open! Submit your application by March 17, 2025, to hitch the She Wins Climate cohort. The 10-month program begins in April 2025.

Selection Criteria
