The UNICEF Venture Fund is asking for purposes from start-ups growing innovative tech options bettering entry to high quality well being care and companies, and guaranteeing socio-economic participation of girls and women. 

 The Fund is providing as much as US$100K in equity-free funding to early-stage, for-profit startups leveraging frontier applied sciences similar to synthetic intelligence (AI), knowledge science, and blockchain for social influence. 

Requirements

• Applications are open to start-ups in low- and middle-income economies growing Open Source know-how that improves well being outcomes, financial participation, or entry to important companies for ladies and women.
• Women-led startups and younger founders (below the age of 35) are strongly inspired to apply. 

The UNICEF enterprise fund is in search of early-stage, for-profit startups that use frontier applied sciences in three key areas: 

1: To enhance well being outcomes for ladies and women i.e 

• Digital well being options for prevention, prognosis, and remedy 
• AI-driven or data-powered platforms for maternal, reproductive, and adolescent well being 
• On-demand referral companies for entry to healthcare and culturally related data 

2: Address distinctive challenges confronted by ladies and women  i.e  

• Closing the gender knowledge hole to drive inclusive decision-making 
• Improving accessibility of platforms for underserved communities, together with individuals with disabilities 
• Designing options that deal with gender-specific challenges in totally different cultural and financial contexts 

3: Empower ladies and women socially and economically i.e.  

Supporting company, decision-making energy, and workforce participation 

Expanding monetary inclusion and entry to financial Opportunities 

Enabling protected entry to training, coaching, and skill-building
