Are you a young graduate fascinated with worldwide relations? Are you curious to study extra about work of a diplomatic mission and the way the EU Delegation represents EU pursuits and values in Namibia?

Main duties: 

• Organising EU coordination conferences, incl. drafting agenda, annotated agenda, and assembly minutes (political, cultural, consular/Schengen) ;
• Contributing to the drafting of political reviews ;
• Drafting speeches, speaking factors, briefings for hierarchy ;
• Researching particular subjects of relevance in Namibia in relation to political and financial developments ;
• Support the organisation of public diplomacy and media occasions ;
• Support coordination of communication of the delegation.

Requirements

• Young graduates with at least a bachelor Diploma (or equal) in Political Science, Africa Studies, Communication, Journalism or associated
• Strong analytical and drafting abilities
• Strong social media and digital communication abilities
• Ability to work in a workforce
• Fluent spoken and written English 

Benefits

• A traineeship of 6 months inside the Head of Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Namibia, beginning in May 2025.
• Each chosen trainee will obtain a monthly grant to cowl dwelling bills. All prices associated to travels, visa, insurance coverage, lodging should be borne by the trainee.
