Overview

The My School Votes Advisory Fellowship is a management program designed to equip changemakers aged 18 and older with the talents wanted to drive youth voter registration and civic engagement. This fellowship offers hands-on expertise in advocacy, neighborhood organizing, and management improvement.

About My School Votes & When We All Vote

My School Votes, a program of When We All Vote, builds student-led voter registration golf equipment in excessive colleges throughout the nation. The initiative integrates civic engagement into college tradition, empowering college students to manage, marketing campaign, and register their friends.

When We All Vote is a nonpartisan nationwide initiative, based by Michelle Obama, devoted to closing the race and age hole in voting participation. By partaking people, establishments, manufacturers, and organizations, When We All Vote fosters a tradition of energetic civic engagement.

Program Details

  • Duration: March 25 – November 18, 2025
  • Application Deadline: February 28, 2025
  • Stipend: $1,000
  • Location: Remote, with alternatives for native engagement

As a Youth Advisory Fellow, you’ll:

  • Lead voter registration and civic engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in and host neighborhood occasions.
  • Gain hands-on expertise in advocacy and organizing.
  • Shape the way forward for democracy by mobilizing friends to take part in elections.

Fellowship Responsibilities

  • Participate in Civic Engagement and Leadership Training
  • Register Peers to Vote: Support voter registration efforts in colleges and communities.
  • Organize Community Voter Registration Actions: Engage your neighborhood in considered one of two main initiatives:
    • Spring Graduation Voter Drive (May)
    • National Voter Registration Week (September)
  • Create and Share a Personal Narrative Video: Use storytelling to encourage voter participation.
  • Collaborate with My School Votes and When We All Vote: Help improve outreach and engagement methods.

  • To apply, submit an application by February 28, 2025.
  • Your application can be reviewed by the My School Votes workforce, and chosen candidates can be contacted for interviews on the finish of February.
