2025 Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize – Kofi Annan Foundation | USD 10,000 Award for Global Young Leaders in Democracy

Democracy thrives when younger leaders take initiative, problem the established order, and encourage change in their communities. The Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize acknowledges and celebrates distinctive younger people who’ve demonstrated a profound dedication to defending, selling, or renewing democratic values. The third version of the award is now open for nominations, inviting organizations to place ahead younger democracy advocates who’ve made a tangible influence. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for nomination, candidates should:

• Be between 18 and 30 years outdated on the time of nomination
• Have a demonstrated influence in defending, selling, or renewing democracy
• Show modern management in democratic initiatives
• Have labored on democracy-related initiatives for at the least one 12 months
• Be nominated by an group (self-nominations are usually not accepted)
• There are no restrictions based mostly on nationality, gender, or occupation

• Completed Submission Form
