University of Johannesburg (UJ) Prize 2025 for South Africans

Applications are open for the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Prize 2025 for South Africans. The UJ Prize is open solely to South African authors or overseas authors who’ve resided in South Africa for a minimum of six months whereas writing their e book.

The UJ Prize was established in 2006 for South African writers regardless of whether or not they have a reference to the college or not. The newest recipients of the prize are Morabo Morojele, awarded R75,000 as the principle prize winner for Three Egg Dilemma, and Jarred Thompson, who acquired R45,000 for the debut prize along with his novel The Institute for Creative Dying.
