Applications are open for the Legal Foundation of Washington Race Equity Grants 2025. The Race Equity Grants present multiyear funding to advance racial justice in civil authorized assist and construct energy in communities most impacted by structural racism and oppression. They use a group-pushed grantmaking mannequin designed to heart the voices of communities most impacted by grantmaking selections.

The objectives of the Race Equity grant Fund are to:

• put money into communities most impacted by structural racism and oppression;
• assist community- and shopper-centered approaches to civil authorized assist;
• improve civil justice for communities of colour;
• construct and assist anti-racist organizations and management; and
• heart these most impacted within the choice-making course of.

Grants

• Twenty $50,000 grants will likely be awarded, every with two-12 months phrases.

Eligibility

• Civil authorized assist suppliers or organizations in partnership with civil authorized assist suppliers are eligible to apply.
• They welcome proposals from nonprofits, Tribal entities, and fiscally sponsored packages.
• If you’ve acquired a previous Race Equity Grant, you’re eligible to apply in case your last report has been submitted or in case your grant will conclude by June 30, 2025.
