Job Opportunities: Climate Finance Specialists at the Africa Adaptation Initiative (AAI)

The Africa Adaptation Initiative (AAI) is happy to announce the recruitment of local weather finance specialists as part of its Adaptation Projects Incubator for Africa (APIA) Programme. This initiative goals to strengthen technical experience in local weather finance throughout the continent by coaching and mobilizing a community of specialists to assist adaptation tasks.

About the APIA Programme

Funded by the European Union, the APIA Programme will likely be carried out over three years (2024-2026) to reinforce local weather finance accessibility in Africa. A key part of this initiative is the institution of a pool of 125 high-level African local weather finance specialists to supply technical help to:

• Direct Access Entities (DAEs)
• Governments
• Financial establishments
• Other stakeholders

These specialists will assist navigate the advanced financing mechanisms of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Adaptation Fund (AF), making certain higher implementation and monitoring of local weather adaptation tasks.

Training and Recruitment Opportunity
