WP 2025 RAISE – Resilience And Integration for Sustainable European peace | Capacity Building Training on Women and Peace

The Young European Federalists (JEF Europe) is organising a sequence of coaching actions, as part of JEF’s 2025 Work Plan, supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. These actions are carried out within the framework of the RAISE venture,  which goals at contributing to spreading consciousness about optimistic peace and increasing its lenses via the views of younger people who find themselves part of the LGBTQI+ neighborhood and/or ladies*.

The aims of the RAISE venture are as follows:

• Empower younger folks with the abilities to advertise optimistic peace via energetic participation in intercultural dialogue, peace-building, and battle transformation.
• Providing information of optimistic and adverse peace from the views of those teams and encourages sensible native actions, reminiscent of campaigns and instructional actions, to advertise peace.
• Foster transnational dialogue and collaboration amongst youth from numerous backgrounds to help optimistic peace.

The output of RAISE will embrace a complete Peace Lesson Plan on Positive Peace to encourage JEFers and youth throughout Europe  to foster optimistic peace.

About the Capacity Building Training on Women* and Peace

The Capacity Building Training on Women and Peace will mark the start of the Work Plan 2025.  The principal aims of this coaching are the next:

• Participants will perceive the ideas of optimistic and adverse peace, discover structural violence as a root reason for conflicts
• Participants will look at worldwide measures, insurance policies, and devices linking peace and human rights (such because the CoE’s Resolution 2378 (2021)) integrating the views of younger ladies* in these frameworks.
• Participants will discover the precise challenges younger ladies* face in battle contexts, their contributions to constructing resilient societies, and their function in selling peace-oriented societal attitudes.
• Participants will develop the abilities wanted to take motion for optimistic peace whereas collaborating with youth from numerous backgrounds.
• Participants will create motion plans for native or regional implementation that might be organised as follow-up actions (as part of exercise 3 of the RAISE venture).

The periods can be facilitated by 3 skilled trainers (1 junior and 2 senior trainers) with experience in non-formal training, peace training, ladies’s rights and youth activism.

Your profile

• You should be resident in one of many Council of Europe Countries.
• You should have the ability to work and fluently talk in English.
• You should be between 18 – 30 years outdated.
• You should present curiosity within the subject of peace and ladies’s rights and present commitments to contribute to all coaching actions and their outputs.
• You should have the ability to arrive on the coaching house at newest on Sunday sixteenth March 2025 and be obtainable to attend all coaching periods between Monday seventeenth and Friday twenty first March 2025.

What we’re providing

Fee and funds
