The program supplies aspiring girls entrepreneurs with skills-based coaching, mentorship, and funding to launch or scale a social enterprise. Position Summary

YCI is in search of a dynamic and skilled Country Manager to guide the HerStart Innovate the Future initiative in Tanzania. Reporting to the Regional Project Manager, the profitable candidate will present strategic route, oversee program implementation, and handle native partnerships. Key Responsibilities

Program Management

• Oversee the supply of all HerStart program parts, together with entrepreneur help, volunteer administration, and challenge grants.

Partnership Development & Management

• Manage partnerships with authorities, non-profit, and personal sector stakeholders.
• Engage key ecosystem actors to help youth and ladies’s empowerment initiatives.
• Maintain robust communication with companions and YCI headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
• Align challenge methods with nationwide and regional priorities for optimum influence.

Strategic Initiatives

• Develop and implement the Annual Country Strategic Action Plan aligned with YCI’s Strategic Plan.
• Identify and handle new funding alternatives.
• Stay knowledgeable on rising traits in financial inclusion, gender equality, and local weather motion.
• Expand YCI’s presence and model in Tanzania via strategic engagement.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of management expertise in challenge administration, ideally in donor-funded applications.
• Proven skill to handle and mentor groups successfully.
• Demonstrated expertise in monetary planning and price range administration.
• Strong observe report in constructing and managing partnerships with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial inclusion, gender equality, and local weather motion.
• Experience working with volunteers and neighborhood improvement initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English and Swahili.
• Must be a Tanzanian citizen or everlasting resident keen to reside and work in Zanzibar.
