Applications are open for the Taco Kuiper Award for Investigative Journalism 2025. The award recognises excellent examples of investigative reporting that reveal untold tales, maintain the highly effective to account and query these in public life, and will be made to a journalist or group of journalists for a single story or a collection of tales revealed or broadcast between 1 January and 31 December 2024.

All South African and South African-based journalists are invited to submit entries for the 2025 Taco Kuiper Award for Investigative Journalism.

Eligibility

• Open to South African or South Africa-based journalists;
• Must have revealed tales of an investigative nature between 1 January and 31 December 2024.

Entries should embody:

• An digital copy of the entry materials as revealed/broadcast. If the unique is shriveled it have to be accompanied by a readable Word/PDF doc model.
