Nominations are open for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Impact Awards 2025. Eligibility
A nominee should:
- be a citizen or everlasting resident of Canada, or a “protected person” underneath subsection 95(2) of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, by the nomination deadline;
- be an energetic social sciences and humanities researcher or pupil;
- maintain or have held SSHRC funding related to the award class;
- be in good standing with SSHRC;
- be affiliated with an establishment that meets the institutional eligibility necessities; and
- keep affiliation with an eligible establishment at some stage in the Impact Award.
Nominees:
- can’t nominate themselves;
- could be nominated in two sequential years for a similar award, following which two years should cross earlier than they are often nominated in the identical class;

Nomination
