Join the 2025 OGP Africa and the Middle East Regional Meeting
Are you captivated with youth participation, open governance, and civic engagement? The Youth Democracy Cohort (YDC) is happy to ask younger leaders from YDC member organizations to apply for the chance to take part in the 2025 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Africa and the Middle East Regional Meeting. This prestigious occasion will happen in Nairobi, Kenya, from March 25-27, 2025.
The OGP Regional Meeting presents a novel platform for younger leaders and youth organizations to have interaction with policymakers, consultants, and civil society leaders. The discussions will middle on selling open governance, transparency, and accountability throughout the area.
Who Can Apply?
We encourage functions from younger people who meet the next standards:
- Aged 18 to 30 years outdated
- A member of a YDC member group
- Passionate about youth empowerment, open governance, and civic engagement
- Experienced or extremely in selling open governance and civic participation
- Familiar with the OGP course of (most popular) or capable of show an understanding of it
- Based in an African nation
Benefits of Participation:

- Have their journey and attendance prices totally coated.
- Share their experiences and initiatives with a regional and worldwide viewers.
- Learn from and collaborate with consultants in governance, human rights, and youth engagement.
- Build networks with different younger leaders and organizations.
