Applications are actually open for the 2025 West African Research Center (WARC) Travel Grant Program. The WARC Travel Grant promotes intra-African cooperation and trade amongst researchers and establishments by offering help to African students and graduate college students for analysis visits to different establishments and areas on the continent.  The WARC Travel Grant supplies journey prices as much as $1,500 and a stipend of $1,500.

Travel grant funds could also be used to:

• go to libraries or archives positioned in Africa with sources essential to the applicant’s educational work
• interact in collaborative work with colleagues at one other African establishment
• journey to a analysis web site in Africa

Requirements

• This competitors is open solely to West African nationals, with precedence given to these affiliated with West African schools, universities, or analysis establishments.

Application necessities:

• Abstract (50-80 phrases) of proposed exercise with a transparent assertion of function
• Project/Research description (6 double-spaced pages most) together with why journey is important (have to be in  language comprehensible to non-specialist readers)
• Proposed finances
• Curriculum vitae (with analysis and instructing document)
• Photocopy of the applicant’s passport (have to be a West African nationwide)
