Background of the Institute

The International Institute of Humanitarian Law is an unbiased, non-profit, humanitarian affiliation based in 1970 in Sanremo, Italy. The Institute organizes coaching programs within the fields of worldwide humanitarian legislation, human rights, refugee legislation, and associated points and promotes dialogue by organizing worldwide conferences, conferences, and seminars of high-level authorities officers, students, and practitioners.

The mission of the Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law (the Department) is to reinforce the data and abilities of authorities officers, worldwide organizations, civil society representatives, and teachers concerned in working with people in want of safety, together with refugees, internally displaced individuals, stateless people, and migrants.
