DAWN’s 40th Anniversary: Fellowship Opportunity for Young Women Feminists from the Global South


As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, DAWN is thrilled to launch a brand new Fellowship Programme for younger ladies feminists from the Global South. This fellowship focuses on The Political Economy of Gender-Based Violence and Conflict, providing an thrilling alternative for a younger feminist with a confirmed dedication to ladies’s rights and gender justice to make a significant influence.

Fellowship Theme

The fellowship goals to deepen understanding of how gender-based violence and battle form gender dynamics. Through this initiative, DAWN seeks to amplify ladies’s feminist voices in public discourse.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, candidates should meet the following standards:

  • Identify as ladies feminists below the age of 40.
  • Reside in or originate from the Global South.
  • Demonstrate a transparent dedication to feminist ideas and methodologies.
  • Submit proposals centered on The Political Economy of Gender-Based Violence and Conflict.

Proposal Guidelines

We welcome tasks in:

  • Research
  • Advocacy
  • Mobilisation
  • Resistance
  • Creative expression

While proposals on various battle areas are welcome, we particularly encourage submissions that concentrate on Palestine.

Fellowship Goals

This programme seeks to empower younger feminists in the Global South to undertake modern tasks and share their work with various audiences domestically and internationally.
