2025 MS-CC Undergraduate Summer Internship in Climate and Data Science at Fisk University in Tennessee (Paid, Open for US Students)

Program Overview

The MS-CC Undergraduate Summer Internship in Climate and Data Science is a 10-week paid internship designed to empower undergraduate college students to have interaction with cutting-edge local weather science analysis. Hosted by Fisk University in collaboration with Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, this program combines computational, data-intensive approaches with hands-on mentorship from school specialists.

Interns will spend the primary week in complete in-person coaching. Over the next 9 weeks, members will work on analysis initiatives alongside friends on the Fisk campus, with a mixture of in-person and digital mentorship. At this system’s conclusion, interns will current their findings at scientific conferences or occasions, gaining helpful skilled publicity.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should:

• Be enrolled in a science diploma program with purposes in local weather science.
• Demonstrate curiosity in quantitative analysis and a willingness to be taught knowledge science.
• Be able to collaborating with various groups.
• Preference will probably be given to rising Juniors and Seniors at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs).
• Programming and prior analysis expertise are advantageous however not required.
