Call for External Evaluator: European Youth Capital 2028
The European Youth Forum is looking for a devoted and educated External Evaluator (service supplier) to help the choice course of for the European Youth Capital (EYC) 2028. This prestigious position includes assessing candidate cities’ purposes and guiding the Jury of their decision-making course of.
About the Role
The External Evaluator will:
- Evaluate candidate cities’ purposes throughout all three rounds of the competitors.
- Provide detailed suggestions to the European Youth Forum and the EYC 2028 Jury, highlighting strengths and weaknesses of every application.
- Contribute to the Jury’s deliberations and help the overarching goals of the EYC initiative.
Key Details
- Service Duration: February 2025 – December 2025.
- Remuneration: €10,000 (VAT included).
- Work Setup: Remote, with common on-line communication.
- Final Jury Meeting: A one-day in-person assembly in November 2025 (journey and lodging coated by the European Youth Forum).
- Eligibility: Applicants should be legally resident in a Council of Europe member nation.
Required Expertise
We are wanting for a person with:
- A powerful motivation to help the European Youth Capital venture.
- Knowledge of youth insurance policies and a eager curiosity in municipal and concrete insurance policies.
- The skill to offer in-depth assessments and actionable suggestions.
