Call for Proposal: French Embassy Fund for Nigerian Civil Society Organizations.

The Embassy of France in Nigeria launches its annual name for proposals to assist initiatives from Nigerian Civil Society Organizations by means of the event fund referred to as “French Embassy Fund for Civil Society Organizations“.
FEF fund is an instrument from the Embassy of France in Nigeria to assist initiatives from Nigerian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). It goals at funding small-scale, medium-scale and revolutionary initiatives and native initiatives carried out by civil society organizations. Since 2019, a number of initiatives and companions have been supported, fast-tracking progress in the direction of girls’s rights, gender equality, sport and disabled individuals’s rights in addition to and peacebuilding course of throughout a number of states in Nigeria.
Eligibility Requirements
• Applicants to this Fund should be member of a Nigerian Civil Society Organization (associations, foundations, NGOs, cooperatives), formally registered for no less than 24 months by the Nigerian authorities;
• Community-based organizations (CBOs) from susceptible teams, youth-led organizations and ladies and girls-led organizations are notably inspired to apply;
• Organizations which have already carried out initiatives in these areas for which this grant is requested;
• The programme strongly encourages synergies, partnerships and coalitions of actors.
Priority Areas
Gender equality: Promoting gender equality, combatting gender-based violence and selling the socio-economic integration of girls by leveraging:
- Economic and social empowerment for girls and women
- Health accessibility for girls, women and susceptible teams
- Access to schooling for girls, women and susceptible teams
- Peace, safety and justice for all.
