Applications are actually open for the 2025/2026 Engineering for Development (ETH4D) Doctoral Mentorship Program. ETH4D gives grants for mentoring doctoral candidates from low- and lower-middle-income international locations. The mentorship is a one-year appointment and includes the next parts:

• Financial help for attending a convention and/or analysis materials
• Mentorship from one ETH professor, senior scientist or postdoc over a interval of 1 12 months of the mentee’s doctoral research. We recommend month-to-month conferences and clearly outlined objectives of the venture, e.g., presentation at a convention, joint publication. ETH mentors are free to serve on the doctoral committee of the ETH4D mentee, however this isn’t a requirement. 
• Research keep on the mentor’s analysis group (ETH Zurich, Switzerland) for 1-3 months through the mentorship interval. 

Eligibility Requirements

• Eligible are doctoral candidates who’re registered at a college or analysis institute in a low- and middle-income nation in accordance to the external pageOECD/DAC list. Priority is given to purposes from least-developed, lower-income, and lower-middle earnings international locations.
