Applications are open for the Creation Grant Program 2025. The Creation Grant Program gives funding to Indigenous artists, inventive teams, and tradition carriers inside Newfoundland and Labrador for the creation, growth, exhibition, and switch of data associated to an artwork type or inventive follow. Funding

There are two funding streams obtainable:

Eligibility

To apply to the Creation Grant Program, you have to be:

• Indigenous (candidates will probably be anticipated to clarify their relationship with their tradition and Identity);
• An Indigenous artist or tradition provider;
• An Indigenous inventive group or inventive collective;
• A resident of Newfoundland and Labrador for a minimal of 1 yr on the time of application; and
• Over the age of 18.

Artists can apply as:

• Individual Artist – A single artist representing themselves.
• Group – A bunch of artists practising as one (equivalent to a band or theatre group).
• Collaboration – A group of particular person artists or teams who come collectively to create with each other.

Activities together with collaborations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists have to be Indigenous-initiated, Indigenous-led and Indigenous-benefiting.
