Applications at the moment are open for the 2025/2026 UNEP-Georgetown Global Environment and Sustainability Law Fellows Program. In 2016, UNEP and the Georgetown University Law Center partnered to develop a joint Global Environment and Sustainability Law Fellows Program, to coach public sector lawyers from growing international locations engaged on issues associated to environmental regulation, pure assets regulation, or related fields of regulation, to in the end promote the environmental rule of regulation. 

Successful Fellows will obtain an Environmental and Energy Law LL.M. Degree from the Law Center. Program Requirements: 

To be eligible for this fellowship a candidate should:  

• be engaged in practising environmental regulation, vitality regulation, pure assets regulation, or a associated authorized area.  
  
• reside in a growing nation;  
• possess the requisite diploma to follow regulation in his or her home nation;  
• be at present employed by a nationwide or native authorities entity; and  
• be engaged in practising environmental regulation, vitality regulation, pure assets regulation, or a associated authorized area.
