Applications are actually open for the 2025 Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Young Leaders Forum. The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Uganda workplace, invites politically and energetic young folks to apply for the 2025 in-take of the Young Leaders Forum (YLF). The YLF is an initiative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) whose goal is to contribute to the event of the political, social, financial data and abilities of young ladies and men and to inspire them to advocate for social justice and good governance in Uganda.

The programme contains of eight largely policy- or issue-based modules, every lasting two days which can happen between May and October 2025. The coaching periods consisting of lectures, workshops and participatory interactions might be carried out by exterior consultants. The coaching is absolutely funded by FES.

Requirements

• Ugandan citizenship or proof of residency for non-citizens.
• Aged between 18 and 30 years.
• Have a minimal of “A” degree training.
• Have confirmed dedication to public affairs, neighborhood involvement or advocacy.

Application Procedure:

Each application have to be accompanied by:

• An up to date and full CV with three referees.
• Copies of “A” degree certificates and some other educational transcripts if relevant.
• A letter of motivation for participation and future plans regarding the programme (it’s best to clearly state your expectations in direction of the programme and the way you’d use your acquired data & abilities to make an impression in society).
