Applications are open for the Climate Entrepreneurship Exchange Program 2025. Climate Entrepreneurship Exchange is an 8-week, revolutionary extracurricular digital trade certificates program that fosters local weather entrepreneurship amongst undergraduate college students in Michigan, Egypt, Libya, and Morocco. The program promotes cross-cultural collaboration and communication whereas equipping individuals with data and expertise essential to create local weather-acutely aware companies.

Climate change is the defining problem of our time, and enterprise performs an important function in tackling it. Explore how artistic options and enterprise methods can drive actual change and see how one can be a pacesetter on this effort. The Climate Entrepreneurship Exchange is your OPPORTUNITY to attach with fellow college students in Michigan and the North Africa area, construct the enterprise expertise to create a local weather startup and generate confidence to make an funding pitch.

Program Details

During the eight-week program, you’ll collaborate in a cross-cultural group, work collectively to finish group assignments and be taught to develop revolutionary local weather enterprise options. The program culminates in an thrilling pitch competitors. Members of the highest two successful groups from North Africa will journey to Michigan for a weeklong immersion within the U.S. entrepreneurial ecosystem, whereas Michigan-based winners will embark on an unforgettable journey to Morocco, studying from regional entrepreneurship consultants and exploring native tradition.

The program will run 4 occasions:

• Cohort 1 – mid-February – mid-April 2025
• Cohort 2 – mid-September – mid-November 2025
• Cohort 3 – mid-January – mid-March 2026
• Cohort 4 – mid-April – mid-June 2026

Eligibility

• Open to college students from: 
  • Egypt
  • Libya
  • Morocco
  • The University of Michigan Ann Arbor and Dearborn campuses; Wayne State University; Michigan State University; and Eastern Michigan University
• You have to be an undergraduate pupil on the time you submit your application.
