Duties

As a Cadieux-Léger Fellow, your duties will embrace:

• Conducting analysis and writing brief papers or briefs
• Participating in coverage improvement processes
• Networking with inner and exterior consultants
• Contributing to coverage working teams and departmental initiatives

The Fellow will work throughout the Open Insights Hub, specializing in strategic themes similar to:

• Global energy dynamics
• Digital and rising applied sciences
• Green transition and sustainability
• Climate and safety
• Economic safety
• Global improvement developments

Work Environment

The Open Insights Hub fosters collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing. The Fellow will:

• Build networks inside GAC, the Government of Canada, and with exterior stakeholders
• Identify new stakeholders for coverage analysis
• Advance thematic agendas with strategic relevance to Canadian international coverage

Eligibility Requirements

Education:

• Enrollment in a doctoral program at a acknowledged establishment in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, History, Law, or associated fields
• Must have achieved candidacy standing (accomplished coursework, exams, and permitted dissertation proposal)

Language:

• English or French proficiency

Required Application Materials

• Research proposal (1,000 phrases) on a major international coverage subject
• Sample paper or publication
• Proof of full-time enrollment in a Ph.D. program in the course of the fellowship

Conditions of Employment

• Must get hold of Secret safety clearance
