Summary:
The Africa Regional Engagement Coordinator will symbolize the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) throughout Africa, specializing in enhancing relationships and engagement with member universities and key stakeholders. This function is ideally suited to candidates primarily based in Nairobi, Kenya, although different well-connected areas may even be thought of.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Membership Engagement crew, reporting to the Senior Regional Engagement Manager.
- Plan and ship engagement actions throughout Africa.
- Present to potential and present members about maximizing ACU advantages.
- Conduct onboarding calls for brand new members and attend occasions throughout the continent.
- Assist with membership renewal processes, together with chasing funds creatively.
- Develop a stakeholder relationship plan to reinforce engagement, retention, and development.

- Support the group of in-person and digital occasions to raise ACU’s profile in Africa.
- Provide regional insights to the Policy and Research crew for coverage briefings.

Requirements:
- Degree or equal expertise in a related subject.
- Proven expertise in stakeholder and membership engagement inside the Higher Education or International Development sectors.
- Strong relationship administration and interpersonal expertise, with the skill to current successfully.

- Familiarity with primary budgeting and reporting mechanisms.
